Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting with the ability to work on multiple projects at a time. This role requires attention to detail and a good understanding of color theory. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes within time-sensitive deadlines.

Certified sprayer is desired but NOT mandatory. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding as needed.

• Apply paint and clear coat with spraying equipment.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Perform touch-ups and repairs as necessary to achieve a flawless finish.

Working Conditions

• Combination of both indoor and outdoor environment; may include working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.

• Requires walking or standing for extended periods of time.

• Follow all O.S.H.A. and EPA standards including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, and proper waste disposal in required areas.

Skills/Experience Required

• Knowledge of HVLP spray guns.

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and stand while spraying for an extended period of time.

• Ability to work proactively, independently and in an environment with others.

• Good personal and communication skills.

• Must take pride in work.

• Experience working in industrial paint shop a plus.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary.
