Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and motivated entry-level candidates to join our Sign Manufacturing and Assembly team. This role involves hands-on fabrication and assembly of custom signage using a variety of materials including wood, metal, and plastic. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to collaborate with a team while also being capable of working independently. Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship are essential, as our work is highly customized and quality-driven.

Experience in sign making, fabrication, vinyl work, or field installation is a plus and will be reflected in compensation, but is not required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Sanding wood, metal, and plastic components.

• Precision masking and taping.

• Small parts assembly with tight tolerances (as fine as .003-in).

• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of work area and tools.

• Maintain quality standards and control; attention to detail is a MUST.

• Plan and assess fabrication lead-times with production supervisor.

• Support other fabrication departments as needed.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor shop environment; may include working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions (hot and cold).

• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Skills/Experience Required

• Experience with manufacturing tools such as saws, drill presses, and a variety of routers.

• Familiarity with basic hand tools.

• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for an extended period of time.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

• Ability to work proactively, independently and in a team environment.

• Positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic computer skills for reading work orders and job tracking.
